Check-in & Access

Please check in at Naoshima Tours, located about a one-minute walk from Miyanoura Port, between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

After checking-in, please make your way to Naoshima Cottage, which is about a 10-minute walk from Miyanoura Port.

If you would like to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, please go to Naoshima Tours, which is open from 9:30 AM until 6:00 PM. The luggage storage fee is 200 yen per item. (Luggage storage is not available at Naoshima Cottage.)
If you have a lot of luggage or heavy suitcases, we recommend using our luggage delivery service (fees apply).

Parking is available free of charge on the Naoshima Cottage premises. (Reservations are not accepted.)

Check-out

Check-out time is 10 AM.
There is no face-to-face check-out procedure. Please leave your key on the table in your room before departure.

Rental Bicycle & Luggage Delivery Service

To make your sightseeing on the island more comfortable, Naoshima Tours also offers rental bicycles and lugagge delivery services.
You can explore Naoshima hands-free, without carrying your heavy luggage.

Pajama Rentals & Slippers

Please Note that pajamas are not provided in the room.

MUJI pajamas are available at 500 yen for rent at MY LODGE Naoshima, located about a 2-minute walk from Naoshima Cottage.
If you contact us for pajamas by the day before check-in, pajamas will be placed in the room.

Please make sure to take off your shoes in the room, and put on slippers provided at the entrance.

No-Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire facility, including terraces and balconies.
Please use the designated outdoor smoking areas.

Please note that smoking inside the facility will result in charges for deodorizing cleaning and room replacement.

Room amenities・Wi-Fi

All in-room appliances (air conditioner, refrigerator, etc.) are turned OFF by default. Please turn them on when using them.
There is no Wi-Fi password.

Regarding Sound Leakage and Late-Night Hours

Please note that our property is a wooden structure, and therefore sound may travel more easily compared to reinforced concrete buildings.
In addition, as the surrounding area is very quiet with little background noise, voices can carry significantly at night.

For the comfort of all guests and our neighbors, we kindly ask that conversations on terraces and balconies be refrained from after 9:00 PM.

Insect repellent

Due to our location on a nature-rich island, insect activity increases especially during the summer months, and insects may occasionally appear in unexpected places.
While we take preventive measures, excessive control can negatively impact the local ecosystem.

We kindly ask for your understanding and request that guests use the insect spray provided in the room if insects appear.
Insect repellent and spray are available in all guest rooms.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at Luke's Table restaurant within My Lodge Naoshima, approximately a 2-minute walk from Naoshima Cottage.

Dinner

Dinner is served at the restaurant ‘Luke's Table’ within My Lodge Naoshima. (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays)
Dinner is available from 6:00 pm.
Please enjoy our ‘Setouchi Slow Food’ cuisine, which primarily uses ingredients from the Seto Inland Sea and traditional cooking methods to simply savour the natural flavours of the ingredients.
Please note that we may be unable to accommodate requests for ingredient substitutions due to allergies or other reasons.

Guests wishing to dine in the evening are kindly requested to make reservations by telephone or email by 8:00 pm the day prior. Reservations may be accepted on the day until 5:00 pm, subject to availability.
※Please note reservations may not be possible if fully booked, so we advise booking early.

Cafe and bar ‘Luke's Table’ open from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
(Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
*Customers with dinner reservations are given seating priority.
*If the restaurant is fully booked, we will offer takeout service only.
*Please note that meals are not available for cafe and bar-only use.
